Professional Disclosure:

Hypnotism is a self-regulating profession not licensed by the State of North Carolina. Goatfish LLC, dba Kris Krueger Hypnosis, aka Kris Krueger, is not a physician nor a licensed health care provider. I do not practice medicine or prescribe drugs. I do not diagnose or treat any medical or psychological condition, nor do I represent my services as any form of health care, and by law, I make no health benefit claims. I offer my services as alternative or complementary self-improvement services. Services offered are not a replacement for medical care, psychotherapy, or counseling. Services offered are exploratory tools for self-reflection, insight, and clarity. It is the responsibility of the client to use the information obtained during their session in their best interest and in a manner that suits their needs. Clients who have ongoing physical or mental health problems should always consult with a licensed professional. It is also highly recommended that clients consult with their healthcare providers before making any personal care treatment decisions.

Education and Instruction:

I am a certified hypnosis consultant through the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) and a certified hypnotherapist through the International Association of Counselors & Therapists (IACT). I initially received 220 hours of course instruction in hypnotherapy and now complete annual continuing education to maintain and grow my knowledge of my craft. I am a certified Usui Reiki Master/energy worker and a non-certified intuitive coach.

Types of Sessions Offered: I currently offer multiple types of hypnosis and intuitive coaching sessions. Appointment information, including brief descriptions, is found on my SERVICES and FAQ pages. Services offered may change without notice.

Pricing and Length of Session: All session pricing is available on my SERVICES page. Any increase or decrease will be noted on the SERVICES page and discussed with current clients at least 28 days before the change. (Current reflects upcoming appointments scheduled on or before the notification date). The listed length of each session is approximate. I will do my best to keep our sessions confined to the time allotted; however, due to the nature of hypnosis, sessions may run longer or shorter than expected. Additional time will be billed in 30-minute increments when necessary.

Booking: Appointments are scheduled through my website at https://www.kriskruegerhypnosis.com/, by phone at 919-307-9957, or through email at kriskruegerhypnosis@gmail.com. I will try to keep recurring sessions on the same weekday and time; however, I can not guarantee your preferred time slot will be available. Please check my calendar at https://kriskruegerhypnosis.as.me/ for open times that fit your needs.

Billing: The session price is collected in full when booking through the website, paid at the end of an in-person appointment, or due upon receipt of an invoice. I accept cash, credit & debit cards, PayPal, and Venmo. I do not offer payment plans, sliding scales, discounts, or bartering agreements.

Insurance: I do not bill insurance companies, Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), or file other third-party claims. Most insurance companies consider hypnosis and coaching "alternative therapies" and do not cover the cost. Some Employer Wellness Programs may reimburse employees, and if needed, I will provide a statement of services upon request.

Intake: I ask that relevant medical information be included in the intake form and advise clients undergoing long-term medical or psychiatric care to discuss hypnosis as an option with their health provider before making their first appointment.

Virtual Sessions: I manage my virtual sessions under a basic Zoom license, a 3rd party application not affiliated with Goatfish, LLC, dba Kris Krueger Hypnosis. In agreeing to use his platform, virtual hypnosis clients are bound by Zoom terms and conditions as outlined on their website: https://explore.zoom.us/en/terms/. Kris Krueger Hypnosis is not liable for potential issues associated with Zoom and its platform, including disconnects, slow bandwidth speeds, or lost session time. I expect my clients to understand the inherent risks when conducting business virtually and ask that they maintain security through reasonable measures, ensure confidentiality, and exercise safe working practices.

Health and Safety: Kris Krueger Hypnosis follows all recommended precautions and rules regarding protecting public health and safety; however, there is always an inherent risk of exposure in any public setting. When scheduling and arriving at an in-office appointment, the client assumes all personal risks to exposure and takes responsibility for their physical safety.

Personnel Records and Session Recordings: Intake materials, session notes, recordings, and written observations are kept securely and strictly confidential in adherence to state retention laws. I reserve the right to use information from session records for professional use, including research, virtual or print publications, and training. Identifying information will be altered or removed to protect anonymity. Clients may opt out when submitting the Information Disclosure Liability Release during intake. Audio recordings are included in the price of select sessions (Past Life Regression, Quantum Hypnosis). Public or social posting of session recordings created by Kris Krueger Hypnosis without prior written approval is prohibited. I do not allow clients to record sessions using personal audio or video devices without express permission.

Late Arrivals: Clients running late for their appointments are to call or send a text notification to 919-307-9957. While we try to accommodate our clients, adding additional time to appointment blocks for late arrivals is at my discretion and may result in additional fees.

No-Shows: Arriving more than 15 minutes late or failing to arrive without notification is considered a no-show, and the client will be charged the entire session price on a held card, invoiced for immediate remuneration, or forfeit all prepayment made.

Cancellations and Rescheduling: Kris Krueger Hypnosis has a 24-hour rescheduling/cancellation policy. I accept schedule changes from appointment confirmation up to 24 hours before the booked session. Clients may cancel or reschedule through the confirmation or reminder email, by contacting me by phone or text at 919-307-9957, or through email at kriskruegerhypnosis@gmail.com. Schedule changes made within 24 hours before the booked session are considered last-minute cancellations, and the client will be invoiced or charged for the missed session or, in the event of prepayment, not refunded as I cannot rebook the held time slot on such short notice. Late notice consideration for medical emergencies, contagious illnesses, and genuine extenuating life circumstances or events is at my discretion. Kris Krueger Hypnosis (Kris Krueger) reserves the right to give 24-hour notice of cancellation or notice to reschedule any appointment due to personal illness, injury, or emergency.

Guarantee of Service: I make no guarantees as to the effectiveness of my services. Individual results will vary, and I expect my clients to assume equal responsibility for their sessions. I trust my clients to understand that hypnosis is a process and time is required to elicit change. Expect multiple sessions and homework assignments to achieve any desired result.

Right to Refuse: I reserve the right to refuse treatment to anyone. Any client suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, behaving abusively or erratically, or crossing social or ethical boundaries will be asked to leave immediately and billed for the entire session or, in the event of prepayment, not refunded. Termination of services may also apply to chronically late or absent clients. Due to professional and personal limitations, I will not work with the following: children under the age of 18, substance abuse issues and substance addictions, sexual dysfunction, and individuals who experience schizophrenia, dissociative identity disorder, or experience related psychotic episodes. Exceptions to this policy may be when collaborating with an attending physician, psychotherapist, or psychiatrist.

Changes to Our Business Practices Terms and Conditions Policy We may update our Business Practices Terms and Conditions Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Business Practices Terms and Conditions on this page. A prominent notice will be posted on the website before the change becomes effective, and We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Business Practices Terms and Conditions Policy. We advise you to review this Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Business Practices Terms and Conditions Policy are effective when posted.

Redress: Through my certifications, I practice under the Code of Ethics and Standards set through the NGH and IACT. If you have a complaint about my services or behavior contact me. If we can not resolve your complaint or questions, you may contact either or both the National Guild of Hypnotists at P. O. Box 308, Merrimack, NH 03054-0308 or the International Association of Counselors and Therapists 8852 SR 3001, Laceyville, PA 18623 to seek redress.

Conclusion: An overview of this policy is part of the Information Disclosure Liability Release, which each client must agree to, sign, and date before their first session. If you have questions or concerns about the content of this document, contact me before booking your first appointment.
